Across Time & Place: Music That Tells A Story

Music Director’s Message

We have so much to offer you this coming season at Orchestra Toronto. The music will take you from the grandeur of Elgar’s Enigma, the freshness of Beethoven’s Pastorale Symphony and Ho’s Jubilation of Spring, through angst and triumph in Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony, on to the excitement and bravura of Lau’s Between the Earth and Forever and Rimsky Korsakov’s Sheherezade. We will bring with us to the stage the Orpheus Choir of Toronto, pianist Anya Alexeyev, cellist Lucia Ticho, erhu specialist Amely Zhou and many others.

You won’t want to miss our special concert featuring music from 60 years of James Bond, featuring a great array of soloists. Our concerts reflect our community and bring you all the best in the symphonic experience. We can’t wait for you to join us.
