SHIVANI NATHOO

Shivani Nathoo (she/her) is a Professional Engineer who works in the energy field. She is extremely passionate about promoting equity broadly within society, and within engineering. She currently serves as the Chair of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Task Force with the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers. She holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Toronto, where she served as President of the Engineering Society. She also served on the U of T Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering’s Faculty Council and the Decanal Task Force on Mental Health.
She is also a theatre critic, who's work has been featured in Intermission Magazine. When she’s not working, you can find her in the audience at your local theatre or concert hall, or visiting a museum.
