Orchestra Toronto is proud to present the world premiere of Four Attributes of the Soul by Canadian composer Yefim Adler, a work that explores the soul’s emotional and psychological dimensions through a vivid interplay of voices and orchestra. Featuring soprano Lauren Margison and welcoming back tenor Scott Rumble, the piece anchors a program centered on spiritual depth and inner conflict. Tchaikovsky’s Manfred Symphony, based on Byron’s metaphysical drama, complements the program with its brooding intensity and sweeping Romantic expression, portraying a tormented figure in search of meaning and transcendence.
