· The 2009-10 season will continue to be an important building year for Orchestra Toronto

· An organization like ours requires artistic excellence with operational strength

· Through the Musicians’ Committee, member musicians are drawn into the operation of the orchestra

· Once again this season, in addition to nominal membership fees, each musician is asked to make a reasonable contribution of time to essential non-musical activities such as ticket sales, concert promotion and fundraising

· We believe that a stronger organization can be made possible by enlisting the tremendous pool of experience of our members in areas beyond music.
